Later, as Batman introduced an appreciative Volar to Captain Comet, the alien champion thanked him for his help.
“To serve the cause of justice and find a cure for my memory loss will be the best thing I can do here,” said Volar.
“I need heroes for my own team, and perhaps I can cure your amnesia, too,” said Captain Comet over the communications screen.
“There’s no one better for either task, Volar,” said Batman.
“I’ll beam down from here,” said Volar, smiling. “Thanks again, Batman.”
At that, Volar teleported onto Captain Comet’s island headquarters. (*) Volar wanted to atone for being used by the wily Schemer. It was the kind of person Volar was that had led this champion of the planet Torma to do good in the first place.

Beneath the bio-mask and special costume that disguised Volar’s features, that’s what kind of woman the alien heroine called Volar really was. (*) She was the kind of woman who ruined the best plans of men like the Schemer.
